Therapy For People Who’ve Already Done Therapy
You've Done the Work
Let's go deeper.
Patterns Can Change
Even old ones.
Your Body Knows
We'll learn how to listen.
For smart people who are tired of working so hard just to feel okay.
Sometimes talking isn’t enough…
Many of my clients have already spent years in therapy, read the books, listened to the podcasts, and tried hard to change. The problem isn’t effort. It’s that old patterns don’t always live in the thinking part of the brain. They live in the body, the nervous system, and the protective parts of us that learned how to survive.
Safety first
You can't force change in a system that's still trying to protect itself. Before deeper work can happen, the body needs enough support to loosen its grip on old survival responses.
Interrupt the M.O.
Old narratives repeat because they’re familiar, not because they’re true. In our work, we catch those loops as they happen and challenge them in real time so something new has a chance to form.
Update the File
Some material doesn’t just need to be understood. It needs to be reorganized in memory so the old version stops running the show and a newer, more accurate narrative can take its place.
So what actually creates change?
Understanding yourself and changing yourself are two different things. The change happens when the parts of you that learned to survive no longer have to work so hard. My approach works with the nervous system, the body, and the emotional brain.
When old emotional stuff remains unresolved, the brain can continue reacting as though those old situations are still happening.
Reprocessing helps those experiences become something you remember occasionally rather than something you continue to relive.
Reprocessing
Integration
Most of us have different parts that want different things. One part wants connection while another wants protection.
We learn how to help these parts work together instead of endlessly pulling you in opposite directions.
Regulation
When your nervous system is overwhelmed, shut down, or bracing for threat, logic doesn’t get you anywhere.
We work directly with the body so you can feel more grounded, present, and in control.
Hi,I'm Shaina
I've spent the last decade helping people untangle everything from panic attacks and anxiety to severe trauma and dissociation.
Somewhere along the way, I became the person brought in when previous therapy hasn’t quite gotten to the root of the problem, or a case feels especially gnarly, confusing, or stuck.
I love this work. I love the puzzle of it. I love helping people make sense of things that have felt impossible to understand for years.
My clients often tell me they expected this type of therapy to feel intimidating, heavy, or painfully serious. Instead, they find a therapist who is direct, deeply compassionate, not easily shocked, and willing to laugh while we’re figuring it all out.
What It Looks Like to Work Together
First, We Figure Out What Hasn’t Worked
Most people come in knowing something isn't working but not fully understanding why it keeps happening. Together we'll start connecting the dots and figuring out what's actually keeping the pattern alive.
Then, Before We Go Deeper, We Stabilize
We don't just rip open old wounds and hope for the best. Before we start digging into difficult material, we'll make sure you have the tools and support to handle what comes up.
Then We Get After It
The goal isn't to talk until you’re blue in the face. It's to help your mind and body stop responding as though old situations are still happening now.
Then, We Bring It Into Your Life
This is where people start noticing things feel different. Relationships get easier. Boundaries feel more natural. Anxiety takes up less space. Life stops feeling like something you're constantly managing.
Finally, You’ll Notice You Haven’t Been Working So Hard For a While

* Don't see yourself here? That's okay. People rarely fit neatly into a category. If you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, disconnected, or caught in patterns that no longer serve you, there's a good chance we can figure it out together.
You've spent years trying to figure it out on your own. Maybe it's time for a different approach.
